She pleaded guilty last week to charges of aggravated vehicular homicide, DUI and three counts of negligent assault.
Treich had a blood-alcohol content of 0.18 percent when she drove west on I-76 in the eastbound lanes for nearly a mile on Sept. 6, prosecutors said.
Her vehicle eventually collided with a car driven by Karon Briggs, a 55-year-old mother of three and the wife of an Akron firefighter. Briggs died during surgery.
A second car with three passengers was also struck in the collision. The occupants were not injured.
