Rotary Club of Alliance Castle Run 10K and Two-Mile Race — Alliance High School, 400 Glamorgan St. Registration opens at 7:30 a.m.; free kids fun run at 8:30 a.m.; two-mile race at 9 a.m.; 10K at 9:15 a.m. $25. Call Randy Crawford at 330-821-4309.

Saturday

Rubber City Road Rally — 2:15 p.m., starting at Swensons, 40 S. Hawkins Ave., Akron. Destination is MAPS Air Museum, 2260 International Parkway, Green. Museum doors open at 4:30 p.m. for tours, beverages, appetizers, silent auction and scavenger hunt. 6 p.m. buffet dinner, oral auction and awards. $75. Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad 40th Anniversary — 5-9 p.m. Travel by train to Hale Farm & Village from the Rockside Station at 5:15 p.m.; return trip will depart from Indigo Lake at 9:15 p.m. Food stations and bars, music, entertainment, showings of Hale Farm exhibits. $95. Camp Tuscazoar Pig Roast — 3-7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Camp Tuscazoar, 6066 Boy Scout Road NE, Dover. Roast pork, barbecued chicken, side dishes, beverages and homemade desserts.
