GREEN: Motorists should note that an intersection was converted from a traffic signal to a four-way stop Friday until the city can replace the sagging light.
The intersection of West Nimisila and Main Street will remain a stop with a four-way flashing light until a new signal can be installed.
The former signal was on a span wire that was sagging so low it had the potential to be hit by a truck, communications director Valerie Wolford said in a news release.
The Green Service Department was already planning to install a new signal on a mast arm this summer.
