The congregation at Prince of Peace Baptist Church, 844 Garth Ave., is hosting a “Community Day” at Garth and Grace avenues in Akron.
The event, which is free and open to the public, is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today. It will include activities for children and youth and free child fingerprinting for a child identification kit. The kit is free and includes digital fingerprints, photos and a list of child safety tips.
Free health screenings, hot dogs and drinks will be provided. Vendors will also be available.
