The University of Akron will be the site of President Barack Obama’s visit on Wednesday.
The campaign announced Sunday that Obama will speak at a rally open to the public at UA’s James A. Rhodes Arena on Wednesday afternoon. Doors will open at 12:30 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public. One ticket per person will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are available for the general public starting 8 a.m. today at all of these locations:
■ Summit County Democratic Headquarters, 438 Grant Street, Akron.
■ Laborers Union Hall, 720 Wolf Ledges Parkway, Suite 201, Akron.
■ The University of Akron James A. Rhodes Arena, 373 Carroll Street, Akron.
