New tool for voters

COLUMBUS: Not sure if your voter registration is up-to-date?

A new search tool will make it easier to check.

Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted has added a new search tool to his MyOhioVote.com website that allows voters to check their voter registration information, including voting address and polling location, with one query. This information previously could be accessed using two different search tools on the site.

Voters now only need to provide their first and last names and counties to check their information. More detailed information previously was required.

Voters who need to update their addresses can use the online change of address form on Husted’s website.

The deadline to register or update registrations for the May 7 primary election is April 8.
