A Boulevard Street man, 27, was charged with assaulting a peace officer, resisting arrest, carrying a concealed weapon, misconduct at an emergency, obstructing official business, drug abuse and menacing. Police said the man interfered as officers investigated a severe dog bite in a Roselawn Street home. He allegedly threatened officers and pushed them when they tried to arrest him. Officers reported finding a folding knife and marijuana in his pants pockets.
A Biruta Avenue man, 53, was charged with disseminating matter harmful to juveniles. Police said he was drinking, using drugs and watching pornography on television. When a girl, 12, entered the room, the man paused the movie. The girl could still see an image on the screen.
A Rosaland Street man, 33, was charged with aggravated burglary and domestic violence after he allegedly broke into his ex-girlfriend’s house on Stoner Street, made another man leave and struck the woman in the face in front of their children.
An East Crosier Street woman, 43, was charge with domestic violence after she allegedly pulled her sister out of a bathtub on Kling Street and punched her several times in the face during a quarrel about a cellphone.
A Bettes Street man, 36, was charged with domestic violence after he allegedly grabbed his wife and bit her on the lip when she tried to leave their home. She sprayed him with mace and ran from the house.
A Rentar Lane man, 23, was charged with domestic violence after he allegedly pushed and kicked his pregnant, live-in girlfriend in the stomach. The man told police he only kicked her in the legs.
An Inman Street man, 53, was charged with domestic violence, menacing, obstructing official business, resisting arrest and assault on a peace officer. Police said he choked his live-in girlfriend and put a steak knife to her throat. When officers arrived at the home, the man shouted obscenities through a window. When he refused to open the door, officers pushed it open. He then reportedly fought with officers.
A Cumberland Drive man, 30, was charged with domestic violence with a previous conviction after he allegedly punched his girlfriend in the face, yanked her arm behind her back and choked her.
An East Avenue man, 31, was charge with domestic violence after he allegedly went to his wife’s workplace on Romig Road, quarreled with her and punched her in the face.
A Locust Street man, 50, was charged with domestic violence after he allegedly shoved his girlfriend into a dresser and pushed her down.
A Dominion Drive man, 29, was charged with possessing a weapon illegally, carrying a concealed weapon, improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle and receiving stolen property. Police reported finding the loaded gun after a traffic stop at North Hawkins Avenue and Cliffside Drive.
A West Exchange Street man, 26, was charged with possessing marijuana, trafficking marijuana, possessing criminal tools and carrying a concealed weapon. Officers responded to the 900 block of West Exchange Street where a man reportedly pointed a gun at another person. Officers stopped his vehicle and found drugs and loaded guns inside the car.
A Coventry Township woman, 34, was charged with misrepresenting her identity and possessing heroin and drug instruments. Police reported seeing her prepare to use a syringe in a parking lot on South Arlington Street. She then lied about her identity.
Two Rhoadesdale Avenue men, both 25, were charged with possessing heroin, trafficking heroin and tampering with evidence after detectives arrived at their home with a search warrant. Officers recovered digital scales, a plastic bag of heroin from a toilet and nearly $2,000 in cash.
A Green man, 26, was charged with possessing heroin and drug instruments following a traffic stop in the 600 block of North Howard Street. Police found two syringes loaded with heroin. He was driving on a suspended license and had two arrest warrants.
A Stow man, 19, of Villas Drive, was charged with possessing heroin and drug abuse instruments following a traffic stop at Copley Road and Storer Avenue. Officers reported finding heroin and a syringe on the man.
A Darrow Road woman, 28, was charged with possessing heroin, drug paraphernalia and drug instruments after a traffic stop on Copley Road. Officers reported finding a bag of heroin, spoons and syringes under her seat.
A Mohawk Avenue woman, 49, was charged with possessing methamphetamines and cocaine after police reported seeing her sell drugs. Officers followed her into a house, where she tried to hide a small plastic bag containing meth and cocaine.
A man, 25, was charged with possessing heroin, drug paraphernalia and drug abuse instruments after a traffic stop in the 400 block of East Waterloo Road. Officers recovered a syringe, heroin and a spoon in his pocket.
An Ogden Avenue man, 33, was charged with receiving stolen property after police pulled him over at Kelly Avenue and Triplett Boulevard in a vehicle that had been reported stolen.
A Massillon woman, 39, was charged with receiving stolen property after she was pulled over in a vehicle with a stolen license validation sticker.

Aluminum siding valued at $1,000 was stolen from a Lincoln Avenue yard, possibly on July 4, a resident reported.
A Lockwood Road woman told police July 3 that a mower valued at $500 was stolen from her yard.

An employee of InfoCision, 325 Springside Drive, was accused July 9 of using credit card information of a North Carolina resident to make online purchases. The worker was suspended, pending the investigation’s outcome.

Someone cut a hole in a fence at an Ohio Edison substation on Manchester Road and stole copper grounding strips worth $6,500, deputies were told July 6.
Identity fraud
A Lemar Avenue resident told authorities June 27 that someone used her personal information to open three accounts totaling $1,863.
Theft
A purse, cellphone and other items, total value $898, were reported stolen July 3 from a vehicle on North Turkeyfoot Road.

A Doylestown man, 28, was charged with having physical control of a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, resisting arrest and obstructing official business July 9. Police said they found the man sitting in his car in a Main Street parking lot. Witnesses said the man was harassing patrons of Wadsworth Tavern and trying to get inside their vehicles.
Theft
A shoplifting suspect left her wallet at Giant Eagle, 825 Ambassador Drive, on July 8. When she returned to the store to claim the wallet, she denied stealing anything.

A Canton man, 19, of Fulton Road Northwest, and his father, 43, of Stanbury Circle Northwest, were charged with domestic violence July 6 after getting into a fight at the father’s home.
A South Boulevard Northwest woman, 22, was charged with domestic violence June 28 after he allegedly struck someone with scissors.
A Cleveland man, 52, was arrested July 5 on a theft warrant from Jackson.

A 9.9-horsepower motor valued at $3,600 was stolen from a boat behind Scheetz Building Corp. and Northwest Paint on Frank Avenue Northwest between June 21 and July 1.
Someone stole a cellphone from AT&T Mobility store on Strip Avenue Northwest and replaced it with one stolen earlier from the Sprint store at Summit Mall in Fairlawn. The phones were valued at $1,280 total.

An Ambler Avenue Southwest girl, 16, was charged with domestic violence July 7 after she allegedly assaulted her mother and pushed her down some steps.
A Jackson Township man, 18, of Woodlawn Avenue Northwest, and a Plain Township man, 18, of Linder Circle Northeast, were arrested on warrants alleging complicity to commit robbery. The two are accused of grabbing two people June 14 at the North Canton Jaycees Fair and robbing them of $1 each.

A golf bag and clubs, total value $1,370, were reported stolen July 3 from an Arnesby Circle Northwest garage.

A 20th Street Northwest woman was charged with domestic violence and endangering children July 1 after she allegedly struck the father of their children several times, hit him in the head with a plate and threw items around the house, missing the kids.
A 34th Street Northeast man was arrested on a felony domestic violence warrant June 27 at U.S. 62 and Middlebranch Avenue Northeast.

A Wooster man, 22, was charged with felonious assault July 8 after he allegedly stabbed two Wooster men, 32 and 26, with a knife in Schellin Park. The man, who lived at Tent City near the park, stabbed the men during a quarrel over a woman, police said. One man suffered a collapsed lung; the other, an injured hand.

An Albern Drive woman reported July 7 that someone set her 1976 Jaguar, worth $15,000, on fire.
A home at Wooster MoHo Park, 505 W. Larwill St., was set on fire July 6.
