David Nist, assistant chief magistrate of the Stark County Family Court, and Brant Luther, CASA/Guardian ad Litem director, completed a three-year court management program that provides a nationally recognized certification. The program is sponsored by the Institute for Court Management of the National Center for State Courts and by the Ohio Supreme Court Judicial College.
Barb Werstler, early childhood manager at Child Guidance and Family Solutions in Akron, received the 2012 Louis D. Kacalieff, M.D., Award for Staff Contribution. The award includes a cash award of $1,000.
Lyn Gwinn, human resources manager at Child Guidance and Family Solutions in Akron, was among 12 human resources professionals selected to be honored by ERC, the nonprofit human resources organization in Northeast Ohio, and the Cleveland Society for Human Resource Management.
