What: Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk plus 1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
Where: Starts at Green Central Administration building on Town Park Boulevard, ends at Green Memorial Stadium, behind the Intermediate School, 1737 Steese Road. Participants may park at the stadium before 7:20 a.m. The school parking lots will be closed for the day. All traffic after 7:20 a.m. will be directed to Town Park Center.
When: 7:30 a.m. Thursday, for mile race and 8 a.m. for the 5K race. Packet pickup will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 a.m. Thursday at the stadium in the concession area.
Costs: $30 for 5K race; Fun Run is $10.
Proceeds: Benefit Green Professionals Association-sanctioned scholarships and community service.
Awards: Prizes for top finishers in various age groups for men and women.
