Here is a list of where you can cut your own tree or buy a live or freshly cut tree.

Summit County

Boston Heights Nursery — 6546 Olde Eight Road, Boston Heights. Daylight hours through Dec. 24. Choose a tree and employees will cut. Balled and burlapped available. Handmade wreaths. Phone: 330-650-0267.

Heritage Farms — 6050 Riverview Road, Peninsula, one-quarter mile south of state Route 303. Noon to 7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday through Sunday, through Dec. 24. Cut your own or freshly cut. Tree fields for cut-your-own close at dusk. Tree shaking, baling and loading onto car included. Refreshments available. Greens and wreaths. Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad — offers a Christmas Tree Adventure to Heritage Farms. Depart from the Rockside Station in Independence at 10 a.m., or from the Akron Northside Station at 11:35 a.m. today and Dec. 8-9 for a ride through the Cuyahoga Valley National Park to Peninsula. Take the trolley to Heritage Farms to cut down or pick out a tree, which will be bundled and delivered to the train for transport back to your car. Rauh Tree Farm — 3001 N. River Road, Stow, two miles east of state Route 91. 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Thursday and Friday. Choose and cut, or employees will cut it for you. Larger trees available for no extra charge. Free shaking and baling. Phone: 330-678-7474.

Shawnee Trail Tree Farm — 900 Terex Road, Hudson. 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, through Dec. 24. Turn west off state Route 91, three-quarters of a mile on left. Shaking, wrapping, wreaths, roping and arrangements, firewood. View live animals. Refreshments available. Stone Garden Farm — 2891 Southern Road, Richfield Township, 1.5 miles south of state Route 303. Open daily during daylight hours until Christmas. Cut trees. Hundreds of short- and long-needle trees. Gift shop, roping, pine wreaths, homemade crafts, folk art and fresh home-baked pies. Farm animals for viewing and petting. Farm museum and one-room schoolhouse, free admission.
